Court métrage d’animation de la série Les petits conteurs 2. Jaime Lo, jeune chinoise timide, considère son univers par le biais de ses dessins. Quand son père est muté à Hong Kong pour un an, Jaime se résout à faire preuve de créativité pour surmonter son absence. Cette histoire traitée sur un ton léger, de nombreuses familles immigrantes la partagent : un parent est obligé de travailler à l’étranger dans le souci de faire vivre sa famille restée au pays.

    • Allow your students to reflect on their cultural heritage and find something that makes them unique.
  • Family Portrait
    • Everybody has a unique family situation; allow your students to use their own artistic expression to represent the people that they consider to be in their family.
  • “Let me in!”
    • Have your students acquire copies of family photographs that they were not present for (e.g., old family gatherings), then, have your students draw themselves on a separate piece of paper, which they can then cut out to paste into the photo that they chose.
