Ce documentaire nous présente Rene Catcheway et Melvin Delorme, deux jeunes Autochtones issus de milieux perturbés qui risquent d’échouer leur secondaire. Or, Randy Baleski, enseignant et ancien boxeur, croit au pouvoir transformateur de la boxe. Melvin et Rene multiplient les entraînements exténuants, et constatent que la boxe est davantage un mode de vie qu’un sport.
