Education

Ages 9 to 11
School subjects
The forces of nature are unpredictable. To continue on the theme of wind, students can be asked to make simple drawings on transparencies, illustrating the natural forces often unleashed during Canadian winters. The challenge is to convey the sense of cold, the wind and the snow using drawings. Then, have students show their pictures on the overhead projector, and accompany them with a made-up narrative.
