Le 21 août 2018, un fils a perdu son père, une mère a perdu son fils et un neveu a perdu son oncle. La communauté sait bien ce qui s’est passé. Des fleurs poussent là où Nicholas Gibbs a rendu son dernier souffle. Le jeune homme noir de 23 ans était en proie à des problèmes de santé mentale, mais c’est la police de Montréal qui l’a tué. Profilage nocturne, de Stefan Verna, examine les forces systémiques ayant conduit à la mort tragique de Nicholas et raconte l’histoire du point de vue de sa famille et de sa communauté, unies dans leur deuil collectif.
