A passion for many, horseback riding is depicted here as an art form. This short film can inspire a Web search for information on the history of the practice and how it connects with Confederation and the place where the RCMP Musical Ride was born. Have students practise a few “equestrian” sequences on foot, outside. Besides having fun, they will gain an appreciation of how technically difficult it is for the RCMP riders to perform these sequences.
