C'est l'automne dans toute sa splendeur et le petit Ludovic s'amuse au parc. À sa grande joie, un autre ourson vient vers lui. Ludovic est content : «Il veut jouer avec moi!», pense-t-il. Il s'approche, mais l'ourson le renverse et s'enfuit. Ludovic n'est pas au bout de ses peines, car il sera victime du «malin» une seconde fois avant qu'un mignon ourson ne vienne à sa rescousse.
