L'étranger

L'étranger

| 11 min

There is no devil, there is no evil. Everything in this world is done only with good intentions. It is only our judgement that looks at things as evil or good. Unfortunately, the short story emphasizes too much on 'evil' and some devilish force. We have so much complexity as humans and to blame devil for our stupidity bring everything into vain. Time to grow up from childish fables into adult fables. We are supposed to know better.

Like Nasferatu, the Devil contaminates the world. This animation offers us no redemption as the German classic.did. It's in the vein of the Klaus Kinski version where vermin overrun everything. We have a choice of visions. Love redeems us or God abandons us. Both visions ring equally true.
