Churchill Project - Summer 1946

A Canadian Army project that involved experimenting with various types of vehicles on the terrain around Churchill in northern Manitoba. This first testing of military vehicles in summer conditions proved that wheeled and heavy-pressure track vehicles were unusable in muskeg and bog areas.
