This film shows Canada’s postwar evolution as a “middle power” and her participation in the United Nations; also can be used as part of a study on the role of the UN in world affairs, and students can compare the idealism of the League of Nations with the realism that accompanied the creation of the UN, with the establishment of the Security Council and veto powers.
