Education

Ages 15 to 17
School subjects
This film looks at specific characteristics of adolescence: at that age, idealism is needed to define one’s personal values. Young people take an interest in themes centered on ideas related to identity, like feelings, attitudes and impressions. Using a quote from Françoise Sagan, “My favorite pastime is letting time pass, having the time, taking my time, wasting my time, living out of time—against the current,” ask students to write an essay on the idea of the passage of time.
