History and Citizenship Education - Culture and Currents of Thought (1500-present)

Students create a story that includes motifs found in a quest story (call to adventure, encountering and overcoming barriers/obstacles, meeting mentor or wise advisor, newly gained wisdom, etc.). The finished product could be a written narrative, story told to class, storyboard, or a game that can be played. Depending on students’ level of readiness, the teacher can decide whether the class can complete work in groups or work independently.
