  • What were the different styles of animation used in this film?
    • The film is a hybrid of 2D animation and stop-motion; this question can be used as a jumping-off point for discussion of how different artistic mediums can be combined.
  • Can you identify the sounds used in the film?
    • This film uses sounds recorded from the environment. Use this to have your students pay closer attention and find interesting sounds in their own everyday spaces.
  • Found Sound
    • Have your students select a few areas in which they can record various sounds as they happen (e.g., in a kitchen, a playground, etc.). These sounds can be used as a backdrop for simple animation. Allow the students to combine the various artistic mediums they are acquainted with.
