Prior to watching the documentary, have students discuss the roles and responsibilities of a police officer. The class can then compare the roles of a teacher and police officer. Interview a police officer and discuss some of the issues that arise in the documentary, as well as the challenges and stresses of the job. Students should ask if the officer thinks the role of the police has changed over the past decade because of societal changes.
