Allen Auksaq
An Iqaluit-based director who has worked with CBC North, Allen Auksaq directed two short films for Stories from Our Land, a mentorship program for Inuit filmmakers mounted jointly by the NFB and the Nunavut Film Development Corporation. With If You Want to Get Married... You Have to Learn How to Build an Igloo!, Auksaq fashions an upbeat tutorial, and with Strength, Flexibility, and Endurance, he demonstrates some Inuit athletic activities.
