Pre-screening activity: students report wildlife they have observed in community. Students express positive and negative views of their presence: nuisance or enjoyable? Debate: "Public funds should be used to make urban and suburban environments attractive to wildlife." Groups develop views either pro or con. Class makes community habitat map of wildlife showing elements that attract wildlife and dangerous places like highways. Students work in pairs on designated blocks.
