This documentary chronicles daily life at Roger Toupin’s neighborhood grocery store, which has become more of a drop-in centre for local residents than a business. Shot over an extended period of time, the film offers a moving and perceptive look at the end of an era – one in which corner grocery stores played a key role in neighborhood life. Today, local grocery stores such as Roger’s are quickly disappearing.

Never thought that this would be one of my favorite films of all times. This documentary depicts the true life of Roger Toupin who you can't but respect and fall in love with. Our dream would be to have Roger and Nestor over for diner and listen to their stories.
