A documentary that follows the inner workings of the eccentric billionaire family of David and Jacqueline Siegel when they are forced to take austerity measures. David is a time-share magnate, the billionaire founder and head of Westgate Resorts. Jackie, from humble beginnings, is his third wife, a former Miss Florida with a computer engineering technology degree. Together they share 8 kids and countless tiny, white dogs. This film offers a look into their surreal world over 2 years as their empire flounders in the global economic crisis of 2008, and they are forced to halt construction on their 90,000 square foot palace. With this film, director Lauren Greenfeld won the 2012 Sundance Directing Award.
