Synopsis

Ce documentaire de la cinéaste légendaire Alanis Obomsawin raconte la crise du logement de la communauté crie d'Attawapiskat, située au Nord de l’Ontario. Devant une population de 1700 Cris vivant dans des conditions difficiles, la chef Theresa Spence a déclenché l’état d’urgence et demandé l’aide de la Croix-Rouge. Alors que le mouvement « Idle no more » fait la une des journaux, ce film remet en contexte certains aspects de la crise.
