This short documentary examines the nuclear disaster that followed the March 11th, 2011 earthquake and tsunami that rocked Japan’s Fukushima Prefecture. That day, Japan was hit with the 5th-strongest earthquake ever recorded, but the real legacy of this disaster is the ensuing nuclear disaster: a series of equipment failures, nuclear meltdowns and releases of radioactive materials from the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant. This film tells the story of a chain of errors and oversights that led to the largest nuclear accident since Chernobyl.
