This short film served as an invitation to the World's Fair that was held in Montreal in 1967. It was largely considered to be the most successful World's Fair of the 20th century with over 50 million visitors. The film presents impressions of the event and of Montreal at its liveliest and most exciting moment in history.

I love this film. I worked at one of the gift shops at Expo & this film takes me back to that wonderful summer of 1967!!!! Ah nostalgia!

  • Great to be able to see this film again and again. I was at Expo 67 when I was six and at Man and His World a few times after that. I love the optimism and sense of potential it suggests.

Thank-you for posting this wonderful film. Although I was a newborn when Expo was on, my parents took us (twins), to Montreal and left us with a babysitter so they could visit Expo. The lines were too long for them to go inside any building on site, but they had a really great time wandering around looking at everything outside and did manage to take a tour inside Habitat. Because I was born that year, I feel very attached to Expo 67 and love all of the architecture and design of that era. Thanks again:), 25 Feb 2010
