This documentary is a historical study of the relations between Britain and the authoritarian regimes of the Arabian Peninsula. Deeply rooted in economic and military interests, this cozy relationship has resulted in astronomical amounts of oil revenue being re-invested in Britain by Arabian princesses instead of being redistributed to local populations. The film also probes into the case of an Abu Dhabi prince who tortured and murdered an Afghan labourer with the aid of the police.
