Antigone (Trailer)

Watch the film

This radio play from the L.A. Theatre Works series presents Antigone, a play by Jean Anouilh. Antigone's brother has been ordered to remain unburied by King Creon. Antigone's faithfulness to her dead brother, and her defiance of the dictator, seals her fate. Originally produced in Paris during the Nazi occupation, Anouilh's play was seen by the French as theatre of the resistance and by the Germans as an affirmation of authority.

Recording top screen and stage actors in state of the art productions, L.A. Theatre Works transforms great works of theatre into intimate, compelling, and sound-rich plays. Its Audio Theatre Collection is the largest of its kind in the world.
