Students can write a monologue to give some background information as to why this woman feels more liberated when wearing her wings. Draw attention to what happens when she takes them off. Ask the class if they think there is a possibility of the couple using drugs and feeling euphoric that explains their "high". Have students take a closer look at the connection between the title and the events that take place.
