The Inuk cinematographer and filmmaker Qajaaq Ellsworth has directed photography on high-profile films like Angry Inuk and Aviliaq: Entwined, both directed by Alethea Arnaquq-Baril. His director credits include Nippaq, a short film about seal hunting made for the Stories from Our Landseries. Active in community development, Ellsworth was appointed Senior Associate with Tides Canada in 2018. The foundation promotes economic prosperity, sound environmental practices and social equity, and Ellsworth is responsible for programming throughout Canada’s four Inuit regions.
