This colourful, somewhat abstract animated film can get children’s imaginations working; for example, the teacher can ask them to interpret the film in writing, or through some artistic activity. Exploring the theme of fear can be especially worthwhile. The monster/dragon that’s so scary, that we try to get away from, can, if confronted or viewed in another way, become an engine, a source of motivation. The teacher can thus draw a parallel and lead children to reconsider their fears, while helping them realize they have the power to act.
