A myopic woman walks, then boogies, through a wintry urban landscape, her world view altered suddenly by a beat from within herself, transporting her to a rich and lush place full of green foliage. Animated in stereoscopic stop-motion, Winnipeg filmmaker Megan Turnbull's film creates a magical, miniature world entirely of out paper sculpture and pure invention. Produced as part of the 6th edition of the NFB’s Hothouse apprenticeship.

The visuals in the animated film were created using paper cut-outs. An animated film, regardless of its style or technique, begins with an idea that is developed into a storyboard and comes to life through the animation process. Students can deconstruct the animation process in this film as a first step in the creation of their own animation productions.
