Diversity - Diversity in Communities

After viewing this short documentary, locate Iqaluit, Nunavut, on a map of Canada. Engage the class in a discussion beginning with the dangers of driving a taxi in Iqaluit for a living. What other transportation options are there in Iqaluit? What would make Iqaluit an attractive place to live and work? What kinds of jobs would one likely find there? Assign students to research the most dangerous jobs in Canada, as well as those in their specific province or territory.
