Synopsis
Documentaire sur la congrégation Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Cœur (NDSC), qui a grandement contribué à la sauvegarde de la langue et de la culture acadienne. Convaincue de l’importance de l’éducation pour les femmes, cette communauté religieuse assure un enseignement supérieur en français aux jeunes Acadiennes, offert pour la première fois au Nouveau-Brunswick. Les religieuses NDSC militent aujourd’hui avec la même conviction pour les droits des plus démunis de la société et pour une plus grande place des femmes dans l’Église catholique.
