This short film pays tribute to dancer Paul-André Fortier, who for the past 30 years has earned accolades for his performances in Quebec, in Canada and around the world. As a choreographer, he has also worked tirelessly for his art during that time. The film uses as starting point the choreographer’s latest work, a collaboration with musician and composer Malcolm Goldstein on the theme of death.

Produced by the National Film Board of Canada in co-operation with the National Arts Centre and the Governor General's Performing Arts Awards Foundation on the occasion of the 2012 Governor General's Performing Arts Awards.
