Synopsis
Dans ce long métrage documentaire, un citoyen suisse passionné par les ouvrages d’ethnologie sur les Inuits passe de la théorie à la pratique en s’envolant pour le Grand Nord canadien. Dans le village isolé de Sachs Harbour, Yves Delauney souhaite en apprendre un peu sur le mode de vie et la culture pluriséculaire du peuple inuit et, par un irrépressible jeu de questionnements, sur lui-même. Au gré de ses rencontres avec des villageois attachés à leur territoire, le protagoniste offre un instantané de la situation actuelle de ce peuple qui le fascine tant. Un peuple traversant une époque charnière marquée par les changements climatiques.
