This short film follows the performance of one song by the band Bell Orchestre. Told entirely in real-time close-ups of the performers and the audience members, neither group aware that they were being filmed, Les Lumières attempts to bridge the disjuncture between musical creator and musical consumer. This film is part of the Making Music 2006 emerging filmmaker initiative produced in association with the Pop Montreal festival.
