Coming soon

When an advanced race of giant lobsters from outer space land on Earth, no one can figure out why they've come. A complete failure to communicate on both ends leads to panic and pandemonium. Education

Ages 7 to 11

Study Guides - Guide 1 | Guide 2

English Language Arts - Children's Stories/Fables
Health/Personal Development - Problem Solving/Conflict Resolution

Younger grades can create the first page of a newspaper, including a picture and headline of when the Space lobsters invaded. Upper grades can also write an article detailing the major conflict. Make sure they include the answer to the following question: What was the language the lobsters were speaking? Watch the film and have students notice the challenges for E.T. and say how he learns to communicate.
