In this animated short, thousands of beads are arranged and manipulated, assuming shapes of creatures both mythical and real. They continually devour, merge, and absorb one another in explosions of color.

Students can be asked the following question: in what ways can art serve the artist’s message? Next, the teacher can divide the class into small groups, asking them to think about a message they would like to share and then transpose it into a work of art. A final presentation in front of the class will determine whether the method chosen has served the message well; if necessary, the group can analyze what went wrong.
