Notes

In this animated short film, Christopher finds his name is too common, so he changes it again and again until it causes him a problem at the bank. Everyone has second thoughts about their name at times and this film will be followed by a lively discussion and activities regarding how students feel about their names. Do you know the reason you were given your name? If you could change your name, what would you choose and why? Do you think a person’s name should be chosen by their parents? Why or why not?
