Boris Kolar
Born in Zagreb in 1933, Boris Kolar worked on 23 animated productions between 1956 and 1994, as a designer, animator or scriptwriter. As a director, Kolar is credited for six animated short films, among which are the NFB co-productions The Specialist (1971), and was the artistic director of the NFB and Zagreb Film’s omnibus work Man the Polluter anthology, to which he contributed the short Reduction of People (00:22:42–00:25:42). Kolar also collaborated in the television series Professor Balthazar (1967–1978) and the films Greetings from Croatia (1991) and Kravata Croatica (1994).
